In Start Stream, you play as a small, but passionate live streamer going by the name Sparkletooth Tiger.

Sparkletooth is someone who definitely prefers more bright, colorful games and absolutely hates anything scary. But given the time of year, and an audience in the single digits, they decide to play the old cult-classic horror game...

...Ten Nights at Teddy's.

After playing a few Nights of the game being subjected to the terror of the titular Teddy Taz-Rex and his friends, Sparkletooth is at his wits' end, but also takes notice that his viewer count is growing rapidly. Clearly, this is something that has an Audience.

He commits to play the game through to the end for the sake of his live stream even though the the game only gets harder, and real life stressors start to take their toll. Sparkletooth won't want to play this game for very long, so he'll stream it every night to hopefully beat it as fast as possible.

The thing he used to look forward to all day starts to be a source of dread instead.
