A downloadable game for Windows and macOS

Candy Crawlies is the game I made for my Capstone as an Animation major at Columbus College of Art and Design. It was completed in 2017.

The game was a joint project between me and Ally Weibel who provided the models for the environment, props, as well as Anise the Black-Licorice Widow.

This game was a unique learning opportunity as I learned essentially how to program and design games to make it and am still proud of so much of what's included inside the three-level experience.

The Premise:

In Candy Crawlies, you play as Squish, the Jelly Spider who sneaks into a strange machine owned by an inventive candy maker. The machine seems to convert any organic matter placed inside it into gummy candy, which is how the candy maker created his best-selling candy: Living Gummy Worms!

As Squish, you must seek out these gummy worms and eat them before you starve to death. Each level has a set amount of time to survive and new obstacles to keep you from lasting. The main hurdle being that you aren't in this candy shop alone. Anise, the Black-Licorice Widow has been living in the rafters for some time now and does not appreciate you threatening to eat all her food. Her AI will have her roaming, hunting, and stalking you so you'd better keep one eye out for her while you search for prey.  You have to be crafty and cautions, but overall you have to eat and survive.
